Description
VF178 Acorn Stitch Kimono
The Acorn Stitch Kimono from Vermont Fiber Designs is not as daunting as it may appear at first glance. The stunning stitch pattern is an easy one to memorize as it is basically a checkerboard pattern with some yarnovers and decreases. The body of the sweater is worked in one piece and the sleeves are worked in the round, so the only sewing required is to attach the sleeves to the body. You can choose to make the I-Cord belt, or simply close the cardigan with a shawl stick. Instructions are included for both 3/4-length sleeves and long sleeves.
