Seed stitch is a very simple pattern to work, and the slip stitch rib adds just the right touch to make this a lovely cardigan. The narrow ribs at the base of the sweater are worked again in the cuffs, button plackets and collar, which creates a wonderful sense of harmony and flow – something we can never have too much of!

Sizes: Adult Women’s X-Small (small, medium, large, 1X, 2X, 3X, 4X, 5X)
Finished Measurements:  35 (38.5, 42, 46, 49, 53, 56.5, 60, 63.5)”, not including bands
Yarn:  1302 (1395, 1488, 1581, 1674, 1860, 1953, 2046, 2232) yards worsted weight wool blend yarn
Needles: One pair each US 6 and 8 straight needles
Other Materials: buttons
Gauge: 18 sts and 31 rows = 4″ in Seed and Slip Stitch Wide Rib pattern;
20 sts and 35 rows = 4″ in Seed and Slip Stitch Narrow Rib pattern, using smaller needles.
