SC33-vs Sheperd’s Vest
Skill Level: Easy. Great beginner’s pattern. Yarn Suggestion: Good with any weight yarn. Will need approximately 8 to 12 ounces, depending on size.
This is a simple pattern that is appreciated by beginning knitters. Pattern starts at the bottom front, arms and neck and shaped, and back is finished to match. All in one piece then folded over at the shoulders and side seams sewn. Two neck variations. My vests are plain – you add the flare.
As with all SpinCraft Knitting Patterns this piece can be knit to any size, using almost any yarn. What you will do is measure yourself, measure the gauge that comes from your yarn, and then perform some easy calculations to get the figures needed to knit this vest. You are the designer!
