This hat is a fun knit using a slip stitch pattern, carrying only one color at a time for the body of the hat, and then Fair Isle technique is used while shaping the crown. The stitches used provide a beautiful texture, as well as interest for the knitter. The hat has a slight slouch to it for comfort and style.
Materials:
Malabrigo Rios (210 yds/100 g) –1 skein Volcan (MC) and 1 skein Black (CC). You will only use approximately 1/2 skein of CC.
♥ Needles ~ 4.50mm (US #7) 16” circular needle, 5.00mm (#8 US) 16” circular needle, and one set of 5.00mm (#8 US) double point needles (DPN), or appropriate size to achieve gauge.
♥ Stitch Marker
♥ Tapestry needle for weaving in ends.
Sizes :
Small 18”, (Medium 20”, Large 22”) head circumference.

Gauge :
20 sts per 4” in Stockinette Stitch, using 5.00mm (#8 US) needles in the round, or appropriate size to achieve gauge.
