Peargirl Just Sleeves and a Hood Shrug knitting pattern
Alexandra, my 15 year old daughter, was the source of inspiration for designing this
shrug. She knows what she wants, which personalizes the design, and she loves it!
Materials : Light Worsted or DK weight yarn to achieve gauge.
Needles – You will need one 32” 3.75 mm (#5 US) circular needle, or appropriate size to
achieve gauge, and 2 double point needles (DPN) in same size.
Tapestry needle for weaving in ends and working kitchener stitch.
Size : This shrug will fit small adult with a finished measurement of 67” (170 cm) cuff to cuff after
blocking. If adjusting sleeve length, be sure to consider if you want the cuffs to stop at
your wrist, or at your knuckles as in this version.
Gauge : 22 sts per 4” in Stst using size 3.75 mm (#5 US) needles, or size to achieve gauge.
