Peargirl Clown Fish Love Anemones EarFlap Hat
Peargirl Knits: The incredible beauty of clown fish surrounded by sea anemones was the inspiration for this little hat. They are pictured here in this colorful hat worked in the round, using only 2 colors, then details are added with duplicate stitch (embroidery) for fins, eyes and stripes when the hat is complete, bringing the clown fish to life.
Materials: Noro Maiko (132 yds/40 g) – 1 skein Main Color (MC) – Blue
Classic Elite Inca Alpaca (109 yds/50g) – 1 skein Contrast Color (CC) – Light Orange
The duplicate stitch can be done with small amounts of yarn in the same weight. I used Maiko for the dark orange on the fins, and Inca Alpaca for the white and black.
Yarns substituted should be a light worsted to dk weight, knitted tighter to get gauge.
♥ Needles – You will need one 16” 3.50 mm (#4 US) circular needle, and one set of 4 or 5 double point needles (DPN) in same size, or appropriate size to achieve gauge.
♥ Tapestry needle for weaving in ends

Gauge: 25 sts to 4” in stockinette stitch, using size 3.50 mm (#4 US) needles, or size to achieve gauge.
Size: 19-20” head circumference
