Materials:
D.K. weight yarn approximately 82 yards per 25 gram skein. Sweater pictured uses Simply Shetland’s Jamieson d.k. wool. 1 set each US 2 and US 4 needles. 4/5/5/6/6 buttons. Crochet hook size C or D (optional).
Gauge:
Stockinette Stitch: 6 1/2 st/inch; 8 rows/inch on US 4.
Pattern Stitch: 9 rows/inch
This sweater knits on smaller needles than is customary for this weight yarn. The tighter gauge results in a better fitting,longer lasting garment. A Mari Sweater fits and it flatters.
