Materials:
D.k. weight yarn approx 175 yds per 50 gm skein. Sweater pictured uses Rowan’s Calmer. 1 set each US 3 and US 5 needles. A 16″ US 3 circular needle.
Gauge:
Stockinette stitch sample: Stockinette st: 6 st=1”, 9 rows=1” on US 5.
Pattern st: 9½ rows=1” on US 5.
This sweater knits on smaller needles than is customary for this weight yarn. The tighter gauge results in a better fitting,longer lasting garment. A Mari Sweater fits and it flatters.
