Materials: Worsted weight yarn, approx 100yds/50 gm skein. 1 set each #2,#5, #6 needles; 2 double pointed needles and some st holders; crochet hook size C or D;7 buttons.
Gauge: Pattern st: 6 st/in, 10 rows/in – # 5 needles; Stockinette: 5½ st/in, 7 rows/in – #6 needles
This sweater knits on smaller needles than is customary for this weight yarn. The tighter gauge results in a better fitting,longer lasting garment. A Mari Sweater fits and it flatters.
