This simple yet beautiful lace patterned blanket is the perfect choice to honor a special baby in your life.  It will be treasured for years to come as it is passed to the next generation.

Size: 36″ (91.5 cm) square.
Yarn Requirements:
1100 yards (1005 meters) of fine 2 ply baby wool.
This blanket also makes up nicely in standard baby weight (4 ply) yarn. This results in a slightly larger, heavier blanket.

Needles: A 24″ or 29″ (60 or 80 cm) circular needle in US size 6 (4mm); a spare smaller needle for picking up stitches; crochet hook size G (4mm).
Note: Blanket is worked back and forth in rows of garter lace.
The circular needle is used to accommodate the size.

Gauge in Garter Stitch: 18 sts = 4″ (10 cm) after blocking.
