Simple Quaker Rib blankets are knit in the round from the center out, with an optional raised petal center motif. Directions for 3 weights of yarn.

Fingering weight: 34″ (86cm) square
DK weight: 36″ (91cm) square
Worsted weight: 34″ (86cm) square
Yarn Requirements:
Fingering weight: 850 yards (777m) or 1 ball each of 6 colors for striped blanket
DK weight Yarn: 950 yards (868m)
Worsted weightt: 800 yards (731m)
Needles:
A set of double pointed needles, a 16″ (40cm), a 24″ (60cm) circular and a crochet hook in the correct size for your yarn weight.
Fingering weight: US #6 (4mm) needles; size G (4mm) crochet hook.
DK weight: US #8 (5mm) needles; size H (5mm) crochet hook.
Worsted weight US size 9 (5.5mm) needles; size J (5.5mm) crochet hook.
Gauge in Stockinette Stitch: (unblocked)
Fingering wt: 20 sts = 4″ (10cm)
DK wt: 18 sts = 4″ (10 cm)
Worsted wt: 16 sts = 4″ (10cm)
