FT454 Artisan’s Extra Bulky Vest

Very fast and easy. Worked at 2 sts to 1″ in extra bulky yarn.
Use a super chunky yarn or create your own unique yarn texture and colorway by combining different yarns then knitting them all together on large needles. Super fast to knit!

Sizes: Small, medium and large.  Finished chest measurements: 37½” (41½”, 45½”)   Finished length: 19½”” (20″, 20½”)

Yarn Requirements: 240 (260, 280) yards.  Use a super chunky yarn that will give the proper gauge, or combine several strands of lighter weight yarn, mixing colors and fibers.

Experiment with the number of strands and types of yarn to get the gauge and the look you want.

Needles: A 29″ (80 cm) circular needle in size 15 (10 mm). For border: Size N (10 mm) crochet hook. Note: Vest is knit in rows. The circular needle is used to accommodate the body of the vest in this very bulky yarn.

Gauge: 8 stitches and 12 rows = 4″ (10 cm) in pattern stitch.
