Koalas to cuddle. Choose a worsted weight yarn and add an optional touch of mohair to tummy and ears.

Size: 8″ to 12″ (20 to 30 cm) tall depending on your yarn choice and amount of felting.

Yarn Requirements: Choose a worsted weight yarn that will felt easily and firmly.  A Koala requires approximately 250 yds (229m) of main color plus about 25 yds (23m) of black.  Inner ears and chest patch require about 40 yds (37m) of a contrasting yarn such as a long haired mohair. Samples shown were made in 10 ply New Zealand wool.

Needles: US size 10 (6mm) straight needles.
