Just 2 stitches used in a 3-row repeat! Run out of yarn or want a lace “bandana” instead? Stop short at any time to get your desired size. Want a bigger shawl? Get more yarn and work longer.

Size: 77½” wide x 5″ deep.

Yarn Requirements: Any yarn, any weight.  Lily”s shawl used 1700 yds of fingering weight cotton. Background shawl, enlarged to show stitch detail, used 1450 yds of sport weight.  If very fine yarns seem overwhelming, choose a worsted weight wool or chunky mohair, they would work well in this pattern as well.

Crochet Hook:
We used a size G for the Fingering weight and a size I for the sport weight. You may use any size according to your yarn.
