FD-104 Picnic Perfect Shawlette
Lace portion is knit first, increasing to full width from a very small provisional cast on, then decreasing to a point. Stitches are then picked up along the edge, and it’s shaped into a crescent with garter stitch short rows.
- Errata: The stitch counts on pages 2, 3, and 4 were incorrect. They should be 18, 29, and 29 respectively. Clarification: On page 2, row 40, when you have successfully bound off 9 stitches there will be 1 stitch on the right needle, and 17 unworked stitches on the left needle for a total of 18 stitches. If you have a different number of stitches here, then you bound off the wrong number of stitches, or something is wrong on the row below.
- Page 3, line 17, about 1/3 of the way across there are two “” in a row. That should read “O” instead. The written stitch instructions are fine.
- Line 3 should read: S1, k1, yo, k2tog, 3/3LC, k1, yo twice, k2tog, yo, k2tog, k2, yo, k2. Line 7 should read: S1, k1, yo, k2tog, k7, yo, k1, (yo, k2tog) twice, k1, yo, ssk, k1, yo, k2.
- Page 5, row 19 should read: S1, k1, yo, k2tog, k6, ssk, yo, k2, yo, k2tog, k1, yo, k2.
