FD-07 Garden Party Shawl
This triangular shawl starts with a central leaf panel. After that the right side is knit, then the left side. The full triangle is made a little larger, then it is finished with a wide applied border. If you prefer to knit a rectangular shawl or a scarf, see Flower Faire, as it uses the same stitches.
Correcting a remaining artifact from when the pattern was nine pages long. Last page, Fancy Leaf Edging, Corner and Beyond, there are three spots that need fixing:
- First paragraph should begin: “Attach row 24 of above chart…”
- The second to the last paragraph, first part of the sentence should read, “…rows 9 through 30 of the Right of Center chart…”
- The second to the last paragraph, second part of the first sentence should read, “knit the 30-row Right of Center chart 8 times…”
Yarn: Lace weight, 900 yards.
Gauge: 18 stitches to 4 inches in lacy lattice pattern, blocked.
Needles: Size 5 (3.75 mm).
Finished size: 81 x 35 inches.
