Top Down Capelet #48 – Ann Norling. You’re going to feel like you just stepped off a New York runway in this capelet. You can make this cape out of any large gauge yarn. Use up your odds & ends. Add some patch pockets. Embellish with some glitz if you want an evening garment. Add fringe if you want a retro poncho. Randomly throw in some pearl stitches, stripes or a cable to add texture. Combine several strands tog of use larger needles on a finer yarn to give a lacy look. Knit on US 16″ & two or three other lengths of circular in the size that will give desired gauge.
